Nestled in a walled garden adjacent to Lancaster Castle is this most gorgeous little cottage with secure parking. It has a perfect location with short walking distance to shops, tourist information, cafes, pubs and historic sites. The train station near by ensures easy access to London (2.5hrs) Scotland and local areas. Close enough to explore the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales by car as well.
The unit itself is spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed with new fixtures and fittings and very comfortable.
Jenny was so welcoming and provided us with all necessary information to make our stay a happy one. Highly recommended.

Set right next to Lancaster Castle, the cottage is literally a dream home away from home and equipped with everything you need to forget your busy life. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with nothing but kindness from Jenny, she truly has thought of everything! From electric blinds for you to have a proper lazy morning, to a big copper bath to relax in in the evening.
I’m sure Lancaster is lovely to dine out in but we ended up staying in both nights because the cottage is so comfortable! We’ll definitely be back to sample the Lancaster dining options and when we do, we’ll definitely be staying at Jenny’s gorgeous cottage.

We were so lucky to find such a hidden gem and be some of the first to stay in this brand new air bnb! The cottage is in the walled grounds of Jenny and Gary’s house right next to Lancaster Castle and just up the road from the train station. The location is perfect for transport, shops and restaurants. Despite being so central the cottage is incredibly peaceful. Absolutely no city noise at all. It’s like a little oasis.
Inside is immaculate and really stylish. The bed in a cupboard is inspired. It’s surrounded by a handy shelf for books, drinks etc with perfectly placed sockets for iPhones. The mattress and bedding is top quality and luxurious. I could easily have spent all day in probably the most comfortable and cosy bed I’ve ever slept in! The kitchen is well equipped and spotlessly clean with big fridge and freezer. And from the dining table you can look out to the castle. The cottage feels really spacious inside due to its double height ceiling and well planned storage. We loved the copper bath and rain shower.
Jenny is lovely and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Always quick to respond as she’s just next door – though the cottage feels very separate from their house. She’s an artist and her amazing photos of ultra magnified sand are on the walls adding to the overall beach house with a twist stylings.
Highly recommended. We will definitely be booking in next time we’re in Lancaster. Hope to stay longer next time!
