Pizza Margherita was opened by Clementine Allen (whose brother founded the internationally acclaimed Pizza Express) in 1979.  At that time, Pizza was something of an unknown quantity in Lancaster; but within a year, Pizza Margherita had established a name for great quality food served in a wonderful atmosphere. Still going strong today, Pizza Margherita is close to The Dukes and The Lancaster Grand theatres, so is an ideal spot for a pre-show dinner.
